Lab Paraphernalia Junkie

If you have my FB you'd probably have seen this. SUPER OLD PHOTOS! Anyway, I love collecting lab things. Especially during clean-outs (that's when I get most of the stuff I have anyway). I keep all of them in a nice treasure box from IKEA. Actually in my lab drawer I still have an envelope-full of stuff like these, just not transported home yet. Open my treasure box!

What I see when I open my box.

Tubes collected / recycled along the course of a BSc. final year project (Falcon tube) and MSc. project (baby blue covered tube).

Disposable syringes without needles.

BSc. final year project.

Pasteur pipettes. Yes, once I was visiting Daniel next door during BSc. final year project, I saw that he has lots of glass Pasteur pipettes so I asked him for one :).

Oh super nice the mouse liver in paraffin! From BSc. Histology class! Dr. Durriyyah said it can be simpan-ed around 5 years (?). I took that as 'selama-lamanya'. 4-well plates from BSc. final year project.

Cell culture products. All taken from clearing the lab.

Yummy cute trident vials.

Colourful microtubes taken from clearing the lab.

BSc. Histology class souvenier. Bad fixation quality. I used too much Mayer's albumin.

Slides made during BSc. Biohealth Laboratory class.

Teflon (PTFE)-coated slides taken from clearing the lab.
