Situation: Stained WHITE bags, dirty marks or imprints on your cards, spotted wallet-windows - the list goes on! They can't possibly be cleaned by dumping them into washing machines. Tried using water and tissue but the stain won't come out?
Try MINYAK CAP KAPAK or AXE OIL. Sold everywhere in Malaysia. It's biggest component is camphor, an essential oil. I don't know what the chemical characteristics are. I came across the use of this when I was buying a BAG. The bag shop's name is (I can't remember the name!!! I'm so sorry but the location is 90 degrees next to Romp in Mid Valley) and they sell cheap and good looking bags (I won't say good quality because the zipper on the bag I bought spoilt after 10 rounds of zipping and unzipping). But still I praise them for innovation. They introduced me to axe oil as a cleaning agent! The bag I wanted so badly is white in colour and it was the last piece and I asked for discount since it was dirty around the corners (because I have acetone at home and can clean too - however, not tried and tested except on scissors). The sales personnel said she'll clean it for me and she showed me how it could be done with axe oil.
Just dab some oil onto a piece of tissue paper and rub the stain away hard! I tried the oil again today, cleaning my stained cards (don't even know how they got soiled in the first place you know) and my wallet-window. Because some places are hard to reach, a cotton bud tip will do the job. It's a great cleaning reagent since it doesn't corrode anything (acetone may burn plastic) and alcohol is actually a second grade not so good cleaner for very soiled things. If you can stand the smell of axe oil, then you don't have a problem! One warning though, it'll leave very oily after effects on your cleaned surface, but no problem, just rub it away with a dry tissue paper and it's good as new.
